While airspace giants Airbus and Boeing face record backlogs, many companies in the industry watch their personnel inching closer to retirement and the AI sucking up talent. The UK alone is facing a shortage of around 10,000 aerospace and defence sector engineers each year. To combat such shortages, businesses are actively working to recruit Generation Z and Alpha talent.
